The new 2023 Maserati GranTurismo Folgore EV visited the Nürburgring for two weeks of testing. Italian engineers brought two full electric Maserati GranTurismo to the famous race track.
The italians worked hard with the prototypes and managed to get a clear lap with the GranTurismo Folgore EV prototype on wednesday evening where we achieved a hand-stopped lap time of 7:59 minutes. This would be just 17 seconds slower than the Porsche Taycan record of 7:42 minutes. Not bad for a first try in this early stage of development.
