Bei eifeltypischen, wechselhaften Wetterbedingungen fand das erste Zeittraining für das ADAC 24h Qualifikationsrennen 2016 statt, bei dem einer der Black Falcon AMG GT3 vorerst die Pole Position sichern konnte. Der Sinn hinter diesem Qualifikationsrennen für das 24h Rennen im Mai besteht darin, den Teams die Möglichkeit für zusätzliches Testen zu geben, und den ersten 10 Fahrzeugen aus dem Rennen einen „Freistart“ für das anstehende „TOP 30 Qualifying“ beim 24h Rennen zu sichern.

The first qualifying for the ADAC 24h qualification race was held under Eifel-typical, constantly changing weather coditions, in which one of the Black Falcon AMG GT3’s could grab the pole position for the moment. The sense behind this 24h qualification race is to give the teams an opportunity to test for the upcoming 24h race in May, and to ensure the first 10 cars at the end of the race a free place in the „TOP 30 qualifying“ of the 24h race itself.
