I have taken a new spy video of the pure electric Porsche Cayenne EV prototype during first tests in the Alps.
The all-electric Porsche Cayenne EV will be launched on the market before the K1 and is based on a modified PPE platform of the electric Porsche Macan, while the K1 is not due to be launched on a completely new platform until 2028. Visually, the Cayenne SUV is still heavily camouflaged, but it already shows its proportions. Compared to the combustion engine, the electric Cayenne appears to be slightly flatter and longer. This design will make it look sporty and still offer a lot of space in the interior. Whether there will be a third row of seats is still unclear. However, we suspect not, as this has never been available in the Cayenne before and could be withheld from the Porsche K1.
The front already shows active aerodynamics in the lower air intake, where the louvres can be opened and closed. The production-ready graphics of the headlights and tail lights can also already be recognised.
