Caterham CSR 175 on the Nurburgring, vs Porsche 997.2 GT3.RS

This video was shot at the recent Gran Turismo Nurburgring event. The Caterham CSR is completely stock, on loan to me from Caterham Cars Ltd.. Ignore the speedo needle, I’d calibrated it wrong. The numbers are MPH from the GPS – those are 100% correct. See how the lightweight Caterham can catch and even attempt to pass the Porsche, despite a top speed of only 120mph.
