Project:RX8’s first fast lap of 2012; 8m46s BTG Nürburgring Nordschleife

More photos and full story here: http://goo.gl/HySCr. This is my first timed lap with the BTG Project RX8. Car is totally standard, 120,000kms with Kenda Kaiser tyres and unknown brake pads. Listen to those discs rumble! 🙂
If you ‚remove‘ the roadworks at Breidscheid and substitute a ‚typical‘ BTG driver in a stock RX8 on a 9min BTG lap just between exit Wehrseifen and exit Bergwerk you can see the real laptime would be more like 8m31s bridge-to-gantry.
